Welcome to our little corner of Pakistan in Dorking. Our founder, Shaz Khan, has been cooking with heart and heritage for over 30 years. Raised in both Karachi and Islamabad, he grew up surrounded by the vibrant culture and bold flavours of Pakistani cuisine.

His earliest inspiration came from the kitchen of his mother and grandmother, where he watched them transform humble ingredients into comforting meals that brought the whole family together.

It was there Shaz discovered the magic of home-cooked food not just as nourishment, but as a deep expression of love, community, and cultural pride. He carried those lessons with him, refining his skills and honouring his roots while crafting recipes that remain true to tradition.

Today, Shaz brings those very same recipes from the heart of Karachi and Lahore to the community of Dorking and the wider Mole Valley. Every dish on our menu is prepared with the same care and soul he first felt as a young boy in his family home.
